Learn the Art of Scalp Micropigmentation

What will I learn?

You will learn how to start generating higher income by providing this service to clients facing hair loss. We will show you how to use the correct inks and needle sizes for scalp micropigmentation. It takes precise application so we will show you the perfect depth and how to stay consistent.

Other things you will learn is how to market yourself to find clients and how to close sales for such a high ticket service.

The most important part is understanding all skin types. Skin types help you determine the depth, needle size and ink formulation.

How many days is the Scalp Micropigmentation course?

This is a 4x full 8 hour days intensive class where you get to shadow on the first day and do LIVE MODELS the next 3 days.

Hands on SMP training is the best way to learn in order to build confidence in the art of scalp micropigmentation.

Where is the training going to take place?

We have leased out a private training space in Tacoma, Wa. Students who register will receive the specific address after placing a deposit.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit for this 4 day hands on class is $1000.

The remaining balance is due the day before class which is April 14th, 2023.

How much is the class?

$4500 “This time only”

The average training cost is $5000 USD. We have slashed $500 USD OFF for our intro training in Tacoma!

You get 3 Pro Team Artists to make sure you get your values worth with extra experience.

We have payment plans option as well using Cherry.

How many seats are available?

The max capacity of students we will take for this class is 12 students.

In order to reserve your seat, you will need to give a non-refundable booking deposit of $1000 that goes towards the tuition cost of $4500. The remaining balance is due April 14th, 2023.

This will be our only training in Washington State this year so you won’t want to miss out!

Do I need any experience?

No you don’t! This is a fundamental class so we will teach you from scratch. All you need is a steady hand, an artistic eye and patience since some procedures can take up to 4 hours straight.

There may be some benefits to some students who have a background in Barbering, Hairstyling and Permanent Makeup. Barbers may understand how to create a hairline easily while permanent makeup artists may understand ink and skin theory.

How much income can I make?

APPROXIMATED INCOME (Based on one new client per week with the average cost being $2500/client):

Donna has been a barber and hairstylist since 1995. She has owned her salon Studio D in Vancouver, BC since 2006. She then learned ombre powder brows from 2019 under Brows by Linnie. After that, she realized SMP made more sense with her hairstyling background so she flew to Florida to learn Scalp Micropigmentation in 2019. Since then, she has been producing the cleanest results in the industry. She specializes in creating brand new hairlines and 3D dimension hair follicles. Her attention to detail is intense as she is the owner of Flawless SMP. https://www.instagram.com/flawless.smp She then joined up with Rachel to be a power team in Vancouver BC and teach Scalp Micropigmentation because her attention to detail was just as nuts! They met at the Tampa Masterclass to further their SMP knowledge and get multi certified. Being a mother of two kids, she has been able to spend more time with her family after making a higher income doing Scalp Micropigmentation. She finally purchased a house in BC and has invested into two pre-sale condos. The income from SMP is definitely financially rewarding as it gives her more time to be with her loved ones. High income with less hours worked!

Antonio has been a barber for 12 years and owns his own barbershop The Beau Barbershop. He injured his wrist overtime as a barber and was looking for another career that would be less stressful on the body. Now that he pursued Scalp Micropigmentation full time, he has managed to free up more time to spend with his family of two kids while earning more. He is also multi certified as he attended many SMP Masterclasses to better himself on the field!

Rachel was born in Hong Kong and came to Vancouver when she was 9. Her love for art and makeup started at a very young age and it all started 10 years ago when she studied at Blanche Macdonald where she received her first diploma. She further studied cosmetic tattooing. Through her studies and experiences gained as a makeup artist, she has strengthened her understanding in facial structures and skin tones. To expand her knowledge and expertise, she went on to study Scalp Micropigmentation to better accommodate her growing passion and love in this industry. She is 7x certified in Scalp Micropigmentation. She loves what she does and everyday she will continue to work passionately, creating exquisite art for each of her clients. She is also a single mother who used to work a full time 9 to 5 job in plumbing sales which was so busy that it was bad for her health. Once she started doing Scalp Micropigmentation full time, she has only been working 3 hours a few days in the week and is making much more than her 9 to 5 which also gives her more time to be with her daughter. She is just as passionate as Donna when it comes to growing this industry and teaching it the correct way so our students don’t make mistakes as well as giving our students the ultimate support they need.

This 4 Day Hands On class will give you plenty of Live Model Practice as well as a Second Session Shadow Class performed by Antonio 2 weeks later.

This was an amazing learning experience in Tampa, Florida getting to learn advance techniques of Scalp Micropigmentation from 3 well known SMP Artists. I now hold 3 more Certifications from Tony Abbagnato, Chris Herrera from the Art of SMP and Jesse Lima of 6e/mp. I will continue advancing myself in SMP to make sure that I continue to give the best results and service here in Vancouver BC. I look forward to adopting the new techniques that I have learned from these amazing SMP artists.

After a 2 day extensive masterclass training, we felt very confident to take our new learned skills back home to our cities. Rachel and I were the only Scalp Micropigmentation Artists that came from Vancouver, BC. In fact, we are the only two artists that continue our education after getting certified for the first time. We will be flying together once more to Maryland, USA to shadow more work from the Art of SMP, Chris Herrera.

We had the opportunity to watch Chris practice his techniques on a melon. He has a unique style so I look forward to watching in person how he tattoos the scalp end of October, 2022. This will be a quick 2 day shadow class so we will be flying in for just 2 nights.
